I wanted to title this post "Bayes' Theorem (or why change through experimentation is essential to transformational change)" but that just seemed too long. Anyway...
I tripped over this video today on YouTube and so many things just clicked for me.
It hits on a few of my most deeply held views about what can go wrong in organisations and what can be done as a practical alternative.
- Drawing flunky conclusions from data; Bayes' Theorem.
- Stuck in groundhog day conversations about who is right; Bayes' Theorem.
- Facing business challenges that feel like squaring a circle; Bayes' Theorem.
Although the video doesn't talk specifically about how to approach change in organisations, it seems to me that it still has a lot to say.
